Bid for Finnish artwork on the online auction!

Are you soon the happy owner of Oiva Toikka´s glass cube?

Or Klaus Haapaniemi´s watercolor painting of his cat Putte?

They are two of the art works on the online auction sponsored by Valio, Finland´s biggest milk company.
This whole designer and milk thing started last year when Valio asked 8 designers to create a personal new look to their milk cartons. Now the same designers (added to those mentioned above are Tiia Vanhatapio, Paola “Ivana Helsinki” Suhonen, Jenni Reuter, Kristiina Lassus, Eero Aarnio and Tuomas “Angry Birds” Erikoinen) have created some unique works for the charity auction.
Do not miss this opportunity if you want to own some original works by Finnish designers!
The address to bid is www.valio.fi/maito ( “Huuda hyvää!” means Bid for the good and there you also can see the works.)
The auction starts on Sunday 22.1. at 9 o´clock  Finnish time and ends on next Sunday 29.1. at 7 pm. Starting prizes are 50 euros. The mailing costs are included if you live in Finland, otherwise you pay for the mailing.
The profits of the auction go uncut to SOS Children´s Village´s The Neighborhood Homes project that starts next summer in Tampere.
Lovely cow bags designed by Paola Suhonen.
