Stories on women´s skin

Tattooing does not any more mean crime nor punishment, it is nowadays also a body art.
The new book Naisen iholla, 32 tarinaa tatuoinneista (On Woman´s Skin, 32 stories about tattoos) shows the styles, ideas and illustrations now popular among Finnish women.
Every tattoo has a story.
Quite many of them are stories about personal, sometimes even life-changing moments the woman wanted to remember. They are diaries, love confessions, thank you Mom/Dad pictures, they are colourful, touching, beautiful and even funny.
And no, not all of the ladies were wild teenagers having tattoos – some of them were over 60 years of age when they had their first tattoo.
If you want to know the mind of your friends and guests buy this coffee table book. Perhaps you will be surprised. Or tempted to have some tattoos as well.
